He began his career at Notts County before moving to Torquay United in 1993 where he was a regular in the first team. In 1997, Barry Town paid £7,500 for his services and he spent three successful seasons there prior to joining Aberystwyth Town in 2000. His route to Leek took him via Hednesford Town (two spells) and Stafford Rangers. He was released in February 2007 and joined Rushall Olympic. Mark started his career at Crewe Alexandra before moving into the non-league game at Hyde United. He then spent four seasons at Newcastle Town prior to signing for Kidsgrove in February 2007, where he played in the centre of defence.  | TREVOR BENJAMIN (striker) DoB: 08/02/1979
Much-travelled former Jamaican international who joined Kidsgrove in February 2009. Trevor began his career at Cambridge United where he scored 46 goals in 146 appearances over a five year period. He then signed for Leicester City for a fee of £1.3 million in October 2000. He made 81 appearances for the one-time Premier League club, but spent large periods of time on loan at clubs including Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace. After playing for several lower league clubs, he moved into non-league on his release from Hereford United in May 2008. Prior to joining Kidsgrove he had brief spells at Gainsborough Trinity, Northwich Victoria, Hednesford Town and Wellingborough Town. Trevor's arrival at Clough Hall had an immediate positive impact on the team, starting with a 5-2 win against Brigg Town on his debut.
