The first of these takes place on Saturday 18th May between 1pm and 4pm. A variety of jobs need doing from painting and weeding to general maintenance, and it is a great opportunity to get involved in the club with fellow supporters.

Gresley 2 Kidsgrove Athletic 1

New manager Anthony Buckle was unable to halt Kidsgrove's losing streak as they slipped to another defeat, this time at the hands of Gresley.

After a goalless first half, the hosts took the lead straight after the resumption with Dean Rathbone drilling in a loose ball. Good chances came and went for both sides before Jordan Gough doubled the advantage with a stunning strike.

Hollinshead sacked as manager

Shaun Hollinshead

Manager Shaun Hollinshead was sacked on Wednesday night, with two games of the season remaining. The former Stone Dominoes boss had joined Kidsgrove at the beginning of the season after a summer of upheaval that saw the departure of the previous management team and most of the first team squad.

Taking over in a temporary capacity is a well-known face at the Seddon Stadium in former player, joint-manager and assistant manager Antony Buckle.
